Swedish Mid-Century Modern, Five-Arm Chandelier or Pendant Light, Brass, Wood, Pleated Fabric, Sweden, 1940s

A five-arm chandelier designed and produced in Sweden in the middle of the 20th century. This example features a sculptural turned wood central stem with a warm reddish-brown finish, complemented by gracefully curved brass arms supporting five vintage pleated fabric shades. The piece is suspended from a slender brass rod with a matching ceiling canopy.
