Swedish Mid-Century Modern, Double Pendant Light, Brass, Fabric, Sweden, 1940s

A Swedish Modern double ceiling lamp designed and produced in Sweden in the early part of the 20th century. This example features a sculptural brass frame composed of two symmetrically arranged tubular arms with angular bends and gracefully rounded lower corners. Each arm supports an upward-facing light fixture fitted with a tapered off-white fabric shade.
