An executive desk designed by architects Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen for Søborg Møbelfabrik, Denmark c. 1959. This example is crafted in teak with contrasting lacquered metal legs and features a rectangular writing surface supported by two suspended drawer cabinets, one fitted with two drawers and the other with four, each with additional writing surfaces with inset felt. The reverse incorporates open shelving and storage compartments. Wood presents with patina throughout. One pull out writing surface is functional but difficult to pull out; maintains its original green felt but no glass surface.
