John Hutton, Donghia, Mid-Century Modern, Oversized Club Chairs, Woven Cane, Mahogany, Jean-Michel Frank Style Pair of limited edition 'Block Island' lounge chairs designed by John Hutton (1947-2006) for Donghia, circa 1995. This seating series is Hutton's graphic and highly textural interpretation of the work of Jean-Michel Frank. Each example features exceptionally well done woven cane uppers sitting on four low profile modernist Mahogany legs. Examples from the 'Block Island' collection are very rare.
