A wonderful desk attributed to Jacques Adnet and produced in France in the middle of the 20th century. This example features a rectangular saddle stitched leather clad wood desk top having brass accents on each corner and a single pull out drawer with a circular brass pull. The entire upper sits on two compass form faux bamboo patinated brass legs with leather detail.

Kneehole measures 24.5 inches high (distance from floor to bottom of drawer) by 22 inches wide (distance between the bottom of each interior leg).

Wear consistent with age and use. Leather presents with some marks. Brass presents with patina throughout.
