Jacques Adnet atrribution, Desk and Folding Chair Set, Black Leather, Brass, France, 1950s

A wonderful desk attributed to Jacques Adnet and produced in France in the middle of the 20th century. This example features a rectangular saddle stitched leather clad wood desk top having brass accents on each corner and a single pull out drawer with a circular brass pull. The entire upper sits on two compass form faux bamboo patinated brass legs with leather detail.

Desk - Height: 29.25 inches, Width: 47.5 inches, Depth: 23.75 inches

Kneehole measures 24.5 inches high (distance from floor to bottom of drawer) by 22 inches wide (distance between the bottom of each interior leg).

Chair - Height: 29.75 inches, Width: 21.5 inches, Depth: 18 inches, Seat Height: 18 inches

Wear consistent with age and use. Leather presents with some marks. Brass presents with patina throughout.
