Rare and Important pair of opposing Neoclassical Blackamoor pedestals or end tables each featuring a polychrome and gilt carved figure supporting a circular table top above a stepped marble base. The figures are mounted within the framework of slender pole supports and decorated with rich detailed drapery. Executed in the venetian revival taste the tables combine sculptural artistry with functional design serving as striking accent pieces.
