A large and brutalist style Danish studio ceramic table lamp designed and produced by  the Hanne Stentøj workshop in Denmark, 1979. Th is example features an overally sculptural form with a  tall tapered stoneware body rising from an expressive, heavily textured base, finished in vibrant blue and black glazes. The dramatic hand-worked surface and contrasting unglazed upper body give the piece a distinctly organic character. Signed “Hanne ’79” on the body. Will be adapted for US use at the time of purchase.
