The desk is raised on a magnificent ormolu-mounted base of exceptional quality,  Each drawer is adorned with striking lion’s head pulls, lending a sense of strength and classical grandeur. The apron is exquisitely decorated with winged thirsty swans flanking a central fountain motif,
