A large Mid-Century Modern table lamp designed and produced by Gordon and Jane Martz for Marshall Studios in the United States c. 1960s. This example features an elongated ceramic body having a graceful teardrop form with horizontal striations in rich brown and warm earth tones beneath a glossy glaze. Original walnut finial. Makers mark on the backside near the cord. The understated form and organic finish are characteristic of the Martzes’ celebrated ceramic lighting designs.
