Rare pair of end tables, side tables, or bedside tables from the "Paldao" collection designed by Gilbert Rohde for Herman Miller in the United States c. 1940s. Each example features a large rectangular table top with a unique open shelf compartment and single pull our drawer having Rohde's signature "Paldao" drawer pull; the entire work sits on four slightly tilted tapered legs. One piece maintains it's original Herman Miller manufacturer label on the inside of the drawer.

Wear consistent with age and use. Un-refinished original condition. Some marks, scratches, nicks, etc. throughout. One drawer with a small chip in the top left hand corner.
