A sculptural pair of wall mirrors by Frederic Weinberg and produced in the United States in the middle of the 20th century. This example features a rectangular iron frame populated with whimsical, hand-worked figural motifs of horses and stylized human forms. The openwork composition surrounds a central rectangular mirror, giving the piece a graphic, almost primitive quality characteristic of Weinberg’s decorative designs. This is a set of two vintage mirrors offered together as a pair, although they were not originally produced or intended as a matching pair.
