A refined pair of Model 6004 “Alexandria” armchairs designed by Edward Wormley for Dunbar during the 1960s. Each example features a sculptural dark mahogany frame with gracefully curved arms, contrasting walnut backrests, and round upholstered seat cushions. An elegant example of Wormley’s distinctive approach to American modernism, combining classical references with clean, sophisticated lines. Retains Dunbar manufacturer’s plaque to the underside.
