A monumental teak credenza or sideboard attributed to Axel Bäck and produced in Sweden in the middle of the 20th century. This example features a central open display section with 5 small out drawers underneath flanked by one bay os stacked side drawers and one hinged door that opens to reveal adjustable shelving. The elevated support frame and lower shelf gives the work a significant stature. One rosewood handles chipped on the underside; as photographed.
