Wonderful example of an engraved and patinated bronze-clad wood 'Chan' coffee table by Philip and Kelvin Laverne. Work by the father son design duo has been steadily increasing in value over the past 5-10 years. This particular version has a colorful patina and measures 47 inches in diameter. The work comes in two pieces with the top being bolted into the base.

The father and son team of Philip (1907-1987) and Kelvin (1937-) LaVerne created custom, limited edition pieces of furniture that were both functional objects and stunning displays of artistry.
